Learn how to link your skills together to build successful freestyle sequences. We will use skills each team knows or is learning to build sequences for freestyle routines. It might be your first sequence or you might be looking for the best way to piece together your high-level skills, or for smoothing out what you already have to maximize your success on the field.

To be most successful here it is best to have some previous disc skills, or to have completed another workshop during the weekend. Each team will work at their own level.

A workshop geared for those with young dogs or dogs and handler teams new to freestyle. We will cover the basics for learning safe tricks like dog catch, rebounds and vaults, as well as learning different kinds of grips and releases to throw fancy throws. We will also go over learning how to move your dog around in the space using movement such as leg weaves, unders and flanking.

Prerequisites: Dogs must be comfortable in a crate between turns and can recall to you

All these are skills you will need for a successful journey playing UpDog games. We might even sneak in some strategy talk, as well!
